Silvina Camara Bio:

Silvina Camara (E-RYT 200) was born in San Carlos de Bariloche Patagonia, Argentina.
Silvina’s first passion was professional singing for she moved to Miami in 1995 to pursue her singing career and record music for Disney World studios.
In 2001, after enduring an accident that changed her life in many ways, Silvina found yoga – which became her greatest passion and new way of life. She took her first ashtanga yoga class with Fred Busch at Miami Yoga Shala on South Beach.
As Silvina began to feel the transformation yoga had in her life, she felt inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. Silvina believes the mind, body, soul connection is extremely sacred, and that it should be nurtured and inspired. With that mentality, she teaches her classes from her heart, creating an uplifting, safe environment for students to begin to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness.
Silvina is continually inspired by yoga’s transformative power—both internally and externally, and finds it to be a source of love and strength. She strives to bring a sense of fun, freedom and kindness to her classes, and hopes to impart nuggets of yogic wisdom along the way. Her classes tend to be power yoga and vinyasa-based (linking breath with movement), with a strong emphasis on alignment.
Notably, Silvina was a director and teacher at one of the very first yoga studios in South Beach – Fred Busch’s Miami YogaShala (2008-2011), where she taught Miami’s best hot power vinyasa yoga classes.
Silvina is a Master Reiki. She founded Shakti Yoga Miami in 2011, where she offered public classes, private sessions, workshops, and teacher trainings.
Silvina is the yoga teacher of choice for many celebrities who visit Miami, including Usher, Paulina Rubio, Eva Longoria, Fernando Carrillo, and NFL players.
Silvina’s commitment is to inspire others to realize their own gifts and powers and to step fully into their most brilliant self and dreams. Her soothing voice, enthusiasm, intensity, and humor, coupled with her knowledge and sensitivity leads yoga students through a practice that is genuine, personally rewarding, and well-rounded in every aspect.
