Eat Smart Not Healthy

Eating smart

Life is a series of choices.  Let’s stop using the word ‘healthy’ and start using more the word ‘smart’!  There is a lot of resistance to the word “Healthy.”  In fact even when i say it to myself it does not sound that attractive.  We have been conditioned to think that ‘Healthy’ means boring or not tasting good.  So for this reason i much prefer to use the word “Smart” instead of the word vegan or vegetarian.  Eating smart is something that everybody can get behind!  Because the opposite of eating smart is eating stupid.  Is only stupid because it damages us and causes disease!  Is much more about smart and stupid than about right or wrong!

You may not realize but the old adage ‘you are what u eat’ applies to our brain as much as our muscles.  Brain can function in health or not in health.  When a brain does not have the nutrients its  needs and even worse is bombarded with chemicals and external factors it tends to work optimally!  It is very important to realize that so many psychological issues are the result of a brain that is out of balance due to nutrition issues or just plain poisoning (toxemia).

So do you want your brain to be made of Chicharrones or M&Ms???

Eating more fruit helps our brain function at optimal levels!  Eating garbage does the opposite and makes us tired and depressed at the least!  It is not just about weight loss!  It is about the mind also!
