Human Body Requires Exercise

Everybody is allowed to get FOOLED by BAD METAPHORS if they wish… but is better idea to understand the limitations of any metaphor to make sure it is accurate in EVERY WAY!
 
One example is the likening of the HUMAN BODY to a CAR or a MACHINE.
 
It is fine if you wish see the human body as a MACHINE! However you would be well served to appreciate the LIMITATIONS of this metaphor and where it is downright NOT ACCURATE.
 
There is a massively important difference between the HUMAN BODY and MACHINES like cars.
 
The difference that is valuable to appreciate is this: With a machine best way to keep it perfect shape basically is to NOT USE IT. Store a brand new machine in its box and one can reasonably assume it will remain in perfect condition until it used!
 
THE HUMAN BODY IS THE OPPOSITE!!! With the human body the only way to make sure it remains in perfect condition is to USE IT! Only the regular use of the body in a systematic way through intelligent exercise keeps it in optimal condition.
 
WE all know the the saying ‘if you don’t use it you lose it!’ The other side of that is that if you start using something you develop it…. and then all you got to do is to keep using it and you will keep your capacities in full form.
 
The metaphor holds water to the degree that we are talking about fuel and maintenance. YES TRUE that we wish to put the best fuel (plant based foods also known as vegan style) and make sure we MAINTAIN our body to ensure optimal functioning. But in this case MAINTAIN actually means USE!
